Newly-minted ACC Player of the Year Hayley Carter won the clinching match to send top seed North Carolina to a 4-1 victory over eighth seed Wake Forest on Friday morning at the ACC Women’s Tennis Championship from Cary Tennis Park. North Carolina (27-2) made it a clean sweep of all three doubles matches to open the day with an early 1-0 advantage.
