UNC baseball set for rematch with ECU
Posted May 10, 2016
Fresh off a weekend sweep at Connecticut, ECU’s baseball team will look to keep its momentum going Tuesday and avenge a lopsided defeat from earlier in the season. The Pirates (30-16-1) play at UNC with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. UNC beat ECU 17-4 in Greenville on March 15. Davis Kirkpatrick (0-2, 5.48 ERA) is slated to get the nod as the Pirates’ starting pitcher.
