Missed Opportunities Hurt UNC Softball In ACC Semifinals

North Carolina had runners on base in all-but-one inning, but lacked the timely hits necessary to get the job done as the Tar Heels fell to top-seeded No. 6 Florida State, 7-1, in the ACC Semifinals. The Seminoles (47-8) advanced to play the winner of #2-seed Louisville vs. #3-seed Notre Dame in Saturday’s ACC Championship game.
