Knight is great but not the best

We're going to go out on a limb and predict Knight won't be bothered if we put his pending record into perspective: Knight will have coached into his 41st season to reach 880 victories. Smith made it to 879 in 36 seasons. When Knight completed his 36th season in 2002, he had 787 wins at Army, Indiana and Texas Tech. (Sporting News)
