UNC, Maryland Took Different Paths to NCAA Men's Lacrosse Final

North Carolina, which will face former ACC rival Maryland Monday to decide the NCAA title, got to Memorial Day from an entirely different place. The Tar Heels had not won an NCAA tournament quarterfinal since 1993. UNC, a considerably younger and less experienced team than Maryland, was an early-season mess. (Lacrosse Magazine)
