The FAU basketball team made a statement just by putting a game vs. North Carolina on its schedule. The game vs. one of the storied programs in college basketball had players and fans excited since the contract was signed. It’s a shame the actual game had to be played. Playing the highest-ranked opponent in school history, the Owls just didn’t have a chance vs. the No. 3 -ranked Tar Heels. (Palm Beach Post)
