9. Chapel Hill, N.C.: Sure, the rolling North Carolina hills are gorgeous and the campus is exemplary, but the food! Chapel Hill prides itself on its farmers, chefs and Southern flavor. This town has a taste for everyone. Just stroll up and down Franklin Street for all of the above, music, movies and much more. It’s beautiful, it’s cultural and it’s uniquely American.
