Starting nose tackle Zeek Rodney to take leave of absence from Wake football team

Zeek Rodney, who started all 12 games for the Wake Forest football team last year, will take a leave of absence from the Deacons during the upcoming 2016 season. No reason was given for the move, which was announced on Tuesday. He is expected to return to the program in 2017. “Zeek has some personal issues that he is currently addressing,” said coach Dave Clawson.
