Tar Heels Bite Bulldogs

No. 3 North Carolina used a 22-1 run to quickly transform an early two-point deficit into a rout. With the traditional light blue Santa Claus passing out candy canes at courtside on Saturday, the Tar Heels presented fans with their fifth win in a row – a 93-62 triumph over UNC-Asheville. Another demonstrative UNC run (15-2) in the game’s final minutes capped off an easy victory in what was just the Tar Heels’ second outing in 10 days. (Inside Carolina)
