Jim Heckman out at Scout, product team quits en masse, blames Russian investors

There appear to be some bizarre things going on with Scout Media Inc. and its network of sports websites (particularly recruiting-focused ones). Awful Announcing has obtained a letter the Scout board sent to Scout publishers Sunday, saying that they’d terminated the employment of chairman Jim Heckman for cause and alleging that he had “advanced his own personal interests at the expense of the company’s”.
