Early football recruit rankings feature Tar Heels

Ranking football recruiting classes at this stage can be misleading because much can change between now and national signing day in February. But UNC has established itself as one of the best classes in the nation. The 14 verbal commitments secured to date by the Tar Heels have them ranked 16th nationally by both Scout.com and Rivals.com, while 247sports.com has them at No. 13. (Fayetteville Observer)
