Every year in college football, new coaches bring a sense of optimism, but what’s happening in the ACC is not ordinary. Fans at Miami, Syracuse, Virginia and Virginia Tech can all reasonably believe that their school made a game-changing coaching move. The ACC’s four coaching hires for 2016 could signal the most important shift for the league since it added Miami and Virginia Tech in 2004.
