North Carolina hands down Williams his 500th career win

The first win came against Alaska-Anchorage. The 500th came against High Point Saturday night, 94-69. A minute after the game ended, Williams stood at center court during a short ceremony. "I've said many times," Williams said to the crowd, "I am as lucky as you can possibly be." Williams then thanked the man who gave him his start, former Kansas athletics director Bob Frederick, before choking up. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
