Youth Leads The Way

North Carolina started seven freshmen in the second half of the women's NCAA College Cup soccer championship at SAS Soccer Park on Sunday, the most newcomers ever put on the field in a starting lineup in the Tar Heels' prestigious history. In all, Carolina had 12 freshmen this season: nine of the first-year variety and three who sat out last year and are known as red-shirt freshmen. (Chapel Hill News)
