UNC looks tough in latest challenge

The Tar Heels prevailed 98-89 with a second-half showing that was simply impressive. The noise in two words -- ridiculously loud. No, it wasn't Duke on the floor, but it was The Ohio State University, cajoled pretty darn well by Thad Matta, the Buckeyes coach who arrived in Chapel Hill with six wins, no losses and a No. 1 ranking in that ESPN/USA Today poll and a No. 3 ranking in that Associated Press poll.
