Lincolnton High 2-sport star Sage Surratt to play football in college, narrows list to five


Lincolnton High two-sport star Sage Surratt said he plans to play football in college. Surratt, 18, told the Observer Saturday that he has narrowed his college choices to, in the order he listed them, North Carolina, Harvard, Yale, South Carolina and Indiana. Surratt is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound senior wide receiver and shooting guard. He was all-state in both sports last season. (Charlotte Observer)
