Give up or give everything: Taylor Treacy transforms into leader for UNC volleyball

Taylor Treacy was having lunch with her mentor when she told him she was thinking of giving up. Following her second season on the North Carolina volleyball team, Treacy was catching up with Tim Whipple, the boy’s basketball coach at Treacy’s high school, who has known her since she was in eighth grade. “Coach, I’m thinking about quitting,” Treacy said.
