UNC Volleyball Suffers First Defeat To No. 5 Minnesota, 3-1
Posted Sep 10, 2016
No. 11 North Carolina’s undefeated streak ended at six on Saturday, as No. 5 Minnesota took down UNC in four sets to win the 2016 ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Minnesota’s fast offense was too much for Carolina to handle in the first two sets, but the Tar Heels came back. UNC led for the majority of the fourth set, but the Golden Gophers pulled away late.
