49ers’ Shaun Draughn happy to have name (mis)called
Posted Sep 15, 2016
ESPN's Chris Berman spent the prime-time telecast calling him Shaun “Drawn,” but his name is pronounced “Drone.” The error had Draughn’s loved ones up in arms, and he also received videos that included Berman’s repeated gaffe from friends in his hometown of Tarboro, N.C. “Better to call (my name) wrong than not be calling it at all,” Draughn said. “It’s all good.”
