Bronco Mendenhall said recently that even though his Virginia football team stands at 2-4 at the midway point of the season, he intends to be in a bowl game at the end of his first campaign in Charlottesville. It’s an admirable goal, and considering that some of his BYU teams started slow and finished strong, one can’t dismiss those possibilities.
