UNC has jurisdictional hearing with NCAA on Friday

UNC on Friday will meet with the NCAA for a jurisdictional meeting -- and not a Committee on Infractions hearing -- a team spokesperson told ESPN on Wednesday. In its response to the NCAA's notice of allegations, the university argued that the NCAA did not have the right to punish the school for academic issues because it was not in the national organization's purview.
