Cowboys lose Ellis for rest of season

Dallas Cowboys strongside linebacker Greg Ellis fears the torn left Achilles' tendon he suffered in Sunday's 27-10 victory over Arizona could end his career, but coach Bill Parcells is optimistic Ellis will be ready for training camp next July in San Antonio. "I've had several players that have had this injury and returned to play successfully," Parcells said Monday. "You can recover from a lot of things in that time." (Houston Chronicle)
