UNC men’s tennis holds signing ceremony for 5-year-old battling cancer

The newest member of the UNC men’s tennis team doesn’t need a strong serve to leave his mark. The Tar Heels held a signing ceremony Tuesday for Mick Macholl — a 5-year-old boy battling stage-three neuroblastoma. A year and a half ago, Mick was paired with the team through a program called Team IMPACT after his family transferred his care to UNC Children’s Hospital. (Daily Tar Heel)
