UNC Women's Basketball Pulls Away In Second Half Over Carson-Newman

Freshman Taylor Koenen scored 23 points to lead North Carolina to a 96-70 exhibition victory over Carson-Newman on Wednesday night from Carmichael Arena. UNC trailed for a good bit of the game as the new-look squad adjusted to playing together in their first exhibition of the season. But a convincing final 12 minutes was too much for the Lady Eagles.
