Nick Richards Commits to Kentucky

It had been 358 days since John Calipari had received a commitment but he started Kentucky's 2017 class off in familiar fashion--by adding a 5-star recruit. Elizabeth (N.J.) Patrick School big man Nick Richards broke the seal on the 2017 class, committing to the Wildcats during a ceremony at his school Thursday. The 6-foot-11, 235-pounder chose Kentucky over Syracuse and Arizona.
