North Davidson's Austin Beck Signs with UNC Baseball

Ever since he was very young, North Davidson's Austin Beck has envisioned being a major league baseball player. On Wednesday, the star outfielder took a step in that direction when he signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of North Carolina, one of the nation's top college programs. "It's just a great feeling," Beck said. "It's been a lifelong dream. But it's only one of the small goals I have." (Lexington Dispatch)
