Why the ACC championship game means so much to Orlando

The ACC championship game will be played outside North Carolina for the first time in seven years when No. 3 Clemson and No. 23 Virginia Tech square off Saturday, a move that league presidents felt was necessary if not ideal. When the decision was made in September, the ACC joined the NBA, NCAA and others in pulling neutral-site events from the state.
