Former Baylor star Isaiah Austin cleared by doctors to return to basketball

One of the most heartwarming moments in recent NBA history played out during the 2014 draft, as former Baylor basketball player Isaiah Austin was drafted by the Association as a whole following the announcement of the 15th pick. Just days before the draft, the 7-foot-1 Austin was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects the connective tissue in the body.
