No in between: Heels clicked, then clanked

North Carolina's football team ate well -- when it was able to find food. But No. 11 Notre Dame enjoyed a steady diet of big plays Saturday afternoon, defeating the Tar Heels 45-26 in front of a sellout crowd of 80,795 at Notre Dame Stadium. The Fighting Irish scored on five of their first seven possessions to sprint out to a 31-13 halftime lead and responded with touchdowns both times UNC cut the lead to 12 points in the second half.
