The good news today is obvious. Football season for the Triangle's ACC teams -- Duke, UNC and N.C. State -- is nearing its end. Soon culture will take its strangling grip around our necks, squeeze it tightly as always, and a different type of scream will begin to fill our ears. Victories will mount, and you will see your favorite schools among the national rankings. (Durham Herald-Sun)
