While the first official basketball game doesn’t occur until November 14th, Wednesday night marks the first of two exhibition basketball games. “Exhibition” is pretty much a code word for “glorified practice against a team that has less than a 0.01% chance of winning” (except during the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 seasons, which have been stricken from the record).
