With UNC basketball coach Roy Williams in attendance, Greenfield School defeaed Fayetteville Trinity Christian 73-70 on Thursday. Junior Coby White, a UNC verbal commit, led the way with 34 points for Greenfield. Josh Nickleberry led the Crusaders with 19 points. And junior Elijah McCadden blocked a would-be tying 3-pointer from the Crusaders’ Joey Baker as time expired.
