Next up for UNC is a trip to Notre Dame, where the 11th-ranked Fighting Irish are coming off a 38-14 victory over Navy. It will be a return for Bunting, who was a senior linebacker for UNC when the Tar Heels lost there, 16-0, in 1971. "The only time I got awestruck is when I watched them warm up,'' Bunting said Sunday. "Their team was much, much bigger than we were. Other than that, I remember the game was a competitive game for 3 1/2 quarters." (Raleigh News & Observer)
