Alabama’s bid for a fifth national championship in eight seasons came up just one second short. With one second left on the Alabama 2-yard line, Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson found wide receiver Hunter Renfrow for the go-ahead game-winning touchdown in a 35-31 to win the national title.
