North Carolina women seeking return to Final Four, and maybe more

The only team in women's basketball last season that stood between North Carolina and perfection was Maryland. The Terrapins twice took it to the top-ranked Tar Heels, and the last loss - which came in the Final Four - was the most painful of all. Now North Carolina hopes to learn from those rare losses and use them to fuel a possible run to a second national championship and first since 1994. (Fayetteville Observer)
