Heels must decide importance of football

Now Baddour must decide again. Given his record on hiring, Baddour will get, and welcome, much advice. His choice isn't between becoming a top 10 power or continuing as a basketball school trying -- and failing -- to win in football. It's a choice between playing at the top of the nation or playing in the upper half of the ACC. It will come down to how much Carolina is willing to pay in salary and in standards.
