Jamie Cherry Bombs Yellow Jackets With Last Second Triple


Jamie Cherry’s three-pointer with 2.0 seconds left in regulation lifted North Carolina to an 89-88 victory over Georgia Tech on Thursday at Carmichael Arena. UNC trailed by as many as 16 points in the first quarter, but clawed back into the game and gave itself a chance by tying the school record for the third time this season with 14 three-pointers.
