UConn, Big East deny report that Huskies might be joining the conference

Earlier Wednesday, Fanrag Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported that UConn had been in talks to join the Big East. UConn’s athletic director denied those reports later in the afternoon, saying “there is no truth,” to the rumors. The conference has also flat-out denied the fact that UConn would be making this move.
