Carolina Cops Eighth in Mercedes-Benz Championship

The Tar Heels women's golf team bounced back from a disappointing second round to drop ten strokes off their Day Two total in shooting a 17-over-par 301 Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Women's Championship in Knoxville, Tenn. The score helped the Heels hop both SMU and Kent State to finish the championship in eighth place, the direct middle of the 15-team field. (Tar Heel Blue)
