Deems May played football with an honest passion

Has it already been 21 years since Deems May guided Lexington's football team to the first of its consecutive 2-A state championships in 1985? Holy smokes. Time really does fly. "I can't believe it's been that long," said May, 37, who works as an investment banker for Morgan Keegan in Charlotte, where he now lives with his wife, Susan, and two small children.
