Before Luke Maye became LUKE MAYE, before Luke Maye walked into his class this morning to a standing ovation after hitting the shot to beat Kentucky, he was a Top 150 recruit who took a “very rare” route to his college of choice. A physically developed post player, Maye showed up early in the process for Jerry Meyer, 247Sports Director of Basketball Scouting.
