From UNC basepaths to dragstrip, Jay Cox remains a frontrunner

There was a time when Jay Cox's obsession was to smash a baseball as hard and far as possible. Now, at age 32, his focus is on going quicker and faster than the driver in the lane beside him on dragstrips all over the country. That Cox won a Professional Drag Racers Association national event earlier this month came as no surprise. He won three PDRA meets last year.
