There is no question that Carolina has endured miserable luck with teams scheduled years in advance developing into national powerhouses, at least for the year or two when they faced Carolina. Louisville, nothing more than an average mid-major when the Carolina home-and-home was set in the late 1990s, is now a Top-25 program. (Tar Heel Blue)
