Coach: Brimfield Still Committed To UNC

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler head coach Jermaine Derricott said Wednesday night his star DL William Brimfield (6-5 287) remains firmly committed to North Carolina despite a report quoting Brimfield as saying he had backed off the commitment and was now open between the Tar Heels and USC. "He hasn't backed off his commitment, he's still committed to North Carolina," Derricott said. (Palmetto Sports)
