The #11-ranked Duke men’s lacrosse team outscored #16 North Carolina 7-1 in the second half Sunday to pull away for a 12-8 victory at Fetzer Field. North Carolina jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the game 3:13 into the second quarter but was limited to just two goals the rest of the way while the Blue Devils outscored the Tar Heels 11-2 over the game’s final 38:04.
