Tar Heels Top Final College Basketball Coaches Poll

The 2017 NCAA champion North Carolina basketball team finished first in the final USA Today Coaches Poll, released following the Tar Heels' 71-65 win over Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament title game on Monday night in Glendale, Ariz. Carolina (33-7) received all 31 first-place votes and 775 total points in the voting. National runner-up Gonzaga (37-2) was No. 2.
