Tar Heels Send Six Soccer Olympians To Beijing


Six members of current and recent University of North Carolina women's soccer teams have been finalized as members of their respective nations 2008 Olympic Soccer Teams which will compete in Beijing next month. Most recently, Robyn Gayle, a senior defender in 2007, was named to the Canadian Olympic Team, joining four roster players and one alternate from Carolina on the U.S. squad. (Tar Heel Blue)
