Former UNC baseball assistant to coach against Tar Heels

UNC faces a team coached by a man familiar to the Tar Heels in Tuesday’s baseball game at Boshamer Stadium. Liberty (20-14) visits, with Scott Jackson as the first-year coach. Jackson spent the past eight seasons as a North Carolina assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Liberty’s coaching staff also includes former UNC pitcher Bryant Gaines. (Burlington Times News)
