Johnny Dawkins suing former employer Stanford for $7 million

Former Stanford basketball coach Johnny Dawkins has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Stanford University and is seeking in excess of $7 million in damages stemming from his dismissal last year. Dawkins is owed approximately $2.3 million in direct damages and is seeking “punitive and exemplary damages of not less than $5 million for the tortious ingredients of its wrongdoing.”
