ACC offers plenty on the hardwood to talk about
This isn't one of those thank-goodness-basketball-is-almost-here columns bemoaning the ACC's current gridiron struggles and stressing football will never reach the fevered pitch hoops routinely enjoys in these parts. ACC football is experiencing a down year, but that's cyclical, as all major conferences other than the SEC go through this every several seasons. No worries, football will be fine. But the official start of basketball practice is just 17 days away, always a cause for cannon-ball sized goose bumps. (Wilmington Star News)
